Almera

Almera potatoes produce medium sized oblong to oval tubers. It is characterized by a bright, waxy, yellow skin and a light yellow coloured flesh. It has shallow eyes and produces well under a variety of growing conditions.

The Almera is a very early fresh market potato and is ideal for fresh-pack as it has good uniformity in size and shape.

The Almera is a firm cooking potato due to its low dry matter content.
